Bluezone Privacy Policy

Last Updated: July 7, 2026

1. Introduction

Bluezone (“we,” “our,” or “us”) provides the Bluezone mobile application, a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) lighting-control platform that allows users to pair, configure, and operate lighting devices. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use Bluezone (“Service”).

By using Bluezone, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Definitions

  • Service: The Bluezone mobile app and any related services.
  • Personal Data: Information that identifies or relates to an identifiable individual.
  • Usage Data: Technical, diagnostic, and interaction data generated automatically during app use.
  • User: Anyone using the Bluezone app.

2. Information We Collect

A. Information You Provide

We may collect the following types of information when you choose to provide it:

  • Name, email address, or other contact details (typically provided when you reach out for support)
  • Information submitted through support requests, feedback forms, or similar communication channels

The Bluezone app does not require account creation for normal operation unless future features introduce optional accounts.

B. Automatically Collected Information

The Bluezone app does not currently transmit automatically collected information from your device to us. Bluetooth-related data used for discovering, pairing, and controlling BLE lighting devices is processed locally on your device.

A future version of the Service may automatically collect:

  • Device information (device model, operating system, app version, system language)
  • Diagnostic and performance data (crash logs, error details, loading times)
  • Interaction data (features used, settings applied, navigation patterns)

If any such collection is introduced, this Privacy Policy will be updated before it takes effect.

Bluezone does not collect or store precise GPS location. However, some mobile operating systems require location permission to allow BLE scanning. Granting this permission does not provide us with location data.

C. Tracking Technologies & Cookies

  • If you visit the associated website (if applicable), essential cookies may be used for basic functionality.
  • The Bluezone mobile application:
    • Does not use advertising cookies
    • Does not use third-party marketing trackers

  • If analytics or diagnostic SDKs are introduced in the future, they will be disclosed here.

D. Information From Other Sources

We do not currently collect personal information from third-party sources.

If a future optional integration or feature requires data from another service, this section will be updated to describe:

  • The type of data obtained
  • The source of the data
  • The purpose for which it is used
